Unusual new Oppo Bubble phone accessory coming soon

The Oppo Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen accessory has been officially announced in China. This new gadget is set to officially launch alongside other devices like the Oppo Reno 16 series, the Oppo Pad 6 and the Oppo Enco Air5s earbuds later in May 2026.

From a post on the Oppo Weibo account, the brand's Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen appears to be designed to remotely control the camera of a compatible smartphone. It looks like the accessory can be magnetically attached to the back of your phone. This allows the user to take selfies using the phone’s rear cameras, with a preview image shown on the accessory’s round display.

A teaser poster for the Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen (below) shared on Oppo’s Weibo account also suggests that users will be able to choose from a range of animated and static wallpapers. Plus it points to a 10 m (~33 ft) wireless connection range and a bag charm accessory. The size of the round, silver gadget has yet to be confirmed. In China, the Oppo Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen will launch on May 25th, when further details about the product are expected to be revealed.
