RedMagic 11S Pro: Global release plans confirmed for new gaming phone

Nubia presented the RedMagic 11S Pro yesterday. Equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version chipset, the RedMagic 11S Pro also keeps its internals in check with an active fan thats runs at up to 24,0000 RPM under full load. Please see our launch article for more details about Nubia's latest gaming smartphone.
For the time being, Nubia is only selling the RedMagic 11S Pro in China, where it starts at CNY 5,499 (~$808). However, the device is set to receive a global release, just like the RedMagic 11 Air and RedMagic 11 Pro before it. Currently, Nubia claims that it will announce the RedMagic 11S Pro globally on May 27 at 12:00 UTC. From past releases, May 27 is unlikely to be when the device will actually go on sale.
A peek at the terms & conditions of the company's RedMagic 11S Pro giveaway reveals a few extra details, though. For instance, Nubia's 'Launch Game' runs until June 3, while its giveaway lasts until June 9. Winners of the latter will be notified on June 12, too. Hence, we suspect that RedMagic 11S Pro pre-orders will open in early June, before general sales commence around June 9.
The RedMagic 11S Pro will be available globally with the same 24,000 RPM fan as its Chinese counterpart. Likewise, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version returns, which is essentially the same SOC as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy that powers the Galaxy S26 Ultra (curr. $1,049 on Amazon). While a 144 Hz AMOLED display is also present, Nubia limits the RedMagic 11S Pro to a 7,500 mAh battery with 80 W wired charging globally.
