New RedMagic gaming phone flexes its performance chops with strong AnTuTu score

RedMagic has launched the 11S Pro series in China, and this gaming phone lineup brings two new smartphones. Among the two, the 11S Pro+ is set to launch in the global market soon, and as AnTuTu reports, this device has what it takes to achieve one of the highest scores on the benchmarking tool.
Specifically, the RedMagic 11S Pro+, with the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, can achieve 4,416,758 points on AnTuTu V11. This is higher than what the top-performing phone achieved on AnTuTu's latest monthly flagship phone chart.
AnTuTu adds that the gaming phone was able to achieve such a score without getting excessively hot. If this holds true, it would be a major improvement over the non-S RedMagic 11 Pro series phones. To fill you in, the regular variants are notorious for exceeding the safe thermal levels when they detect that a benchmark app is running.
In the report, AnTuTu also adds that with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition, the phone is able to maintain an average of 145.5 FPS on Honor of Kings, but it seems that 144Hz refresh rate support for other major games, such as Genshin Impact, is still not available.
However, the benchmark reports shared by AnTuTu highlight that the 1% low frame rates on these games are good, meaning that the phone will be capable of delivering a smooth gaming experience.
Other than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition, the 144Hz AMOLED screen with 1,800 nits of peak brightness rating is another highlight. The global variant is also expected to feature a 7,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging (160W Anker Prime charger curr. $105.99 on Amazon). More details on the international launch should emerge before the May 27, 2026, event.
