MSI has unveiled two new gaming monitors backed by Tandem OLED and 4th Gen QD-OLED technologies. Launched globally, the MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 and MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 output at 4K and 240 Hz with 1,000 nits peak brightness. MSI's new MAG series monitor is selling in the Eurozone, too.

MSI has launched two new 32-inch gaming monitors featuring Samsung's latest 4th Gen QD-OLED panel technology. Also Tandem OLED panels, the MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 and MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 output at 4K and 240 Hz with 300 nits peak brightness that rises to 1,000 nits in HDR mode. With that being said, the pair differ in a few areas.

For instance, the MPG 322UR X24 contains a UHBR20-compatible DisplayPort 2.1a port that eliminates the need to use Display Stream Compression (DSC) when gaming at 4K and 240 Hz. By contrast, the MAG 321UP X24 drops to a narrower bandwidth DisplayPort 1.4a port like the MAG 321UP before it (curr. $679 on Amazon).

The MPG 322UR X24 also surpasses the MAG 321UP X24 with MSI's AI Care Sensor and the company's newer OLED Care 3.0 technologies. Theoretically, the former should have a lower chance of exhibiting OLED burn-in than the latter. Both monitors come with a 3-year OLED burn-in warranty, though.

Also, MSI includes a three-port USB hub with the MPG 322UR X24 hub, which the MAG 321UP X24 lacks. Moreover, the former contains a superior USB Type-C port that can recharge connected devices at up to 98 W. For some reason, the MAG 321UP X24 is the only one of the two that is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync. In comparison, the MPG 322UR X24 makes do with VESA Adaptive-Sync compatibility to mitigate image tearing at high refresh rates.

While the company has added the MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 and MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 to its global website simultaneously, only the former is available to purchase anywhere. Specifically, MSI has released the MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 in Italy where it retails for €899 including taxes (~$869).

The company has not confirmed when either monitor will be available in other markets, though. In the meantime, we have embedded MSI's datasheets below for comparison purposes. Please see MSI's MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 and MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 product pages for more details.
