Gigabyte launches new 4K QD-OLED premium gaming monitor with 240 Hz refresh rate

Gigabyte has launched its latest gaming monitor, the MO32U24, in the global market. Gigabyte’s latest offering brings an interesting set of features and comes as a rival to Philips' Evnia 27M2N5500XD and the LG UltraGear OLED 27GX790B (curr. at $994 on Amazon) monitors. The company’s new monitor is designed for gamers in mind, featuring a 32-inch QD-OLED panel that outputs at a resolution of 3840 x 2160 (UHD) with a refresh rate of 240 Hz.
Besides the high refresh rate, the panel provides 1000 nits of peak HDR brightness and a 0.03 ms GTG response time and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color coverage, ensuring lifelike color reproduction. Furthermore, the screen offers a wide viewing angle of 178°, which is similar to the Acer Nitro XV273U W1, which was launched last year at IFA. The monitor is said to be equipped with advanced Obsidian Shield film, and according to the company, it increases perceived black levels by up to 40% and maintains deep black and vibrant color even in bright ambient light.
The gaming monitor has received DisplayHDR True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR 13000 certifications. Moreover, the MO32U24 boasts two 5 W stereo speakers and an integrated fanless advanced thermal cooling system with a graphene thermal film. You get plenty of port options, including 2 x HDMI 2.1, 1 x DisplayPort 1.4, 1 x USB Type-C, 2 x USB 3.2, 1 x USB 3.2 upstream port, and 1 x earphone jack.
As for the design, the Gigabyte MO32U24 features a sleek, gaming-focused outlook with an all-black color scheme. The base of the monitor offers tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments up to 130 mm. The company hasn’t yet disclosed the price of the monitor.
