Gigabyte unveiled the MO27Q28G Tandem OLED gaming monitor at Computex 2025, and it went on sale in the US in September of the same year. Now, for a limited time, it has been listed with a $200 discount, making it even better value for those looking to upgrade their setup.

Gigabyte MO27Q28G monitor features

Featuring the fourth-gen Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel from LG Display, the MO27Q28G is a 27-inch 2K (2,560x1,440) gaming monitor with a 280 Hz W-OLED panel capable of 1,500 nits peak brightness in HDR. It promises 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage, 0.03ms response times, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. The monitor has a KVM switch, as well as an anti-reflective coating and AI OLED care features built in.

Connectivity options on the MO27Q28G include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a USB Type-C with PD up to 18W, two USB 3.2 downstream ports, one USB 3.2 upstream port, and an earphone jack. There are two 5W speakers as well. The included stand supports tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment.

At the time of publishing, the Gigabyte MO27Q28G is on sale for $400 via Newegg, a $200 discount from its typical pricing. Gigabyte also has the MO27Q28GR with the same MSRP, but that’s not as cheap, with Amazon listing it for $500. The only difference between the two is that the MO27Q28GR comes with a RealBlack Glossy coating.
