LG releases new UltraGear 32GX850B gaming monitor with major changes from older model

LG has finally announced when it will begin selling the UltraGear 32GX870B in some capacity. For context, the company unveiled the monitor in December 2025. Shortly afterwards, LG showcased the 32-inch monitor a few days later during CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
Unfortunately, global pricing and availability remain unknown for now. In the meantime, LG has opened pre-orders in Japan. Additionally, it has confirmed that UltraGear 32GX870B pre-orders will begin shipping on June 11. Hence, it seems unlikely that the monitor will be available elsewhere before the summer.
Also, LG has priced the 32GX870B at JPY 169,800 (~$1,081). An 18% reduction on the older 32GX870A (curr. $1,029 on Amazon), this pricing would translate to around $1,230 in the US based on the 32GX870A's MSRP.
Nonetheless, the 32GX870B is 20% brighter in SDR mode than the 32GX870A at 335 nits thanks to LG's 4th-Gen Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel. Similarly, LG's new 32-inch OLED gaming monitor reaches 1,500 nits in HDR mode for a 15% improvement. The 32GX870B retains a 4K native output with 240 Hz/480 Hz Dual Mode refresh rate options.
