LG has bolstered its UltraGear OLED gaming monitor series with another 32-inch example. To recap, the smaller UltraGear OLED 27GX700A (curr. $849.99 on Amazon) received a global release earlier this month after LG brought the UltraGear OLED 34GX900A and UltraGear OLED 45GX900A to more markets. Then just yesterday, the UltraGear OLED 27GX704A arrived with a glossy WOLED panel.
Now, LG has released the UltraGear OLED 32GX850A internationally. Not to be confused with the UltraGear OLED 32GX870A from the spring, the UltraGear OLED 32GX850A outputs at 4K and 165 Hz by default but can drop to 1080p and 330 Hz as needed with 0.03 ms GtG response times and 275 nits peak brightness in either mode.
Additionally, LG has included two HDMI ports and a single DisplayPort for video inputs. As the photo above shows, the UltraGear OLED 32GX850A also contains two USB Type-A ports and a USB Type-B port. In other words, the UltraGear OLED 32GX850A is a slower version of the UltraGear OLED 32GX870A, which offers 240 Hz or 480 Hz refresh rate modes and has a USB Type-C port.
By the looks of early retail listings, the UltraGear OLED 32GX850A should soon reach other markets like the UK and US, too. In the meantime, the monitor is already available in China, Hong Kong and the Netherlands. Currently, MediaMarkt charges €999 for the UltraGear OLED 32GX850A in the Netherlands. Thus, we suspect LG will release its new 32-inch OLED gaming monitor for around $999 in the US.
