Asus ROG Strix XG258QMG: New FHD TN gaming monitor launches with 280Hz refresh rate and 120% sRGB coverage

The Asus ROG Strix XG258QMG has launched as a 24.5-inch Full HD TN gaming monitor. It features a native 1920x1080 resolution, covers 120% of the sRGB color space, and offers a typical brightness of 400cd/m². Its refresh rate can reach up to 280Hz and response time is rated at a minimum 0.2ms GTG for sharp motion and minimal delay in fast-paced games, like CS2 and Overwatch.

The display has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 16.7 million colors with wide 176-degree viewing angles horizontally and vertically. Physical connection options include a single DisplayPort 1.4 (HBR2), two HDMI 2.0 ports, and an 3.5mm jack. The monitor carries certifications for AMD FreeSync Premium, VESA AdaptiveSync with 280Hz support, VESA DisplayHDR 400, TÜV Flicker-free, and TÜV Low Blue Light.
