MSI has finally released its latest 34-inch OLED monitor internationally. Featuring a 5th Gen Tandem QD-OLED panel, the MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 combines DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C ports with up to 1,300 nits peak brightness in HDR mode.

The MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 has been a long time coming. Announced in January, the MPG 341CQR X36 formed part of MSI's extensive CES 2026 showcase. Initially, the company claimed that the MPG 341CQR X36 would reach the US for $1,099.

However, the 34-inch monitor is now available for significantly less then expected, having been discounted from an initial $949 launch price. Currently, the MPG 341CQR X36 can be ordered for $899 on Walmart and for £998 in the UK. According to MSI's website, this $899 pricing is a permanent discount rather than a temporary one.

Unfortunately, the monitor is currently listed as being temporarily out of stock on Amazon and MSI. Compared to the MPG 341CQPX (curr. $749 on Amazon), the MPG 341CQR X36 is brighter and faster thanks to its 300 nits SDR/1,300 nits HDR peak brightness and its 360 Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, the MPG 341CQR X36 contains DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR13.5), HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C ports (98 W Power Delivery). Also, the new monitor benefits from an AI Care Sensor and OLED Care 3.0 technology to mitigate OLED burn-in.
