RingConn Gen 3 to be launched soon with blood pressure monitoring and haptic feedback

The RingConn Gen 3 Smart Ring was originally announced at CES in January, but the manufacturer did not want to disclose details on pricing and availability at that time. However, RingConn had already asserted that, unlike the Oura Ring 4 ($349 on Amazon), no subscription would be required to use the ring's most important features.
In the teaser embedded below, the manufacturer now confirms that the RingConn Gen 3 Smart Ring will be launched on Tuesday, May 5th. Whether the ring can only be pre-ordered on this day or will be shipped right away is currently unknown, as is the price. To put things in perspective: The RingConn Gen 2 is available for $386. The third generation RingConn smart ring offers a number of major and minor innovations, starting with a wider range of sizes - Gen 3 is offered in US ring sizes 6 to 15, and should therefore fit most customers.
Unusually for a smart ring, the vibration motor can provide haptic feedback when, for example, the daily step goal is reached or an unusual heart rate is detected. The ring offers blood pressure monitoring, but RingConn cannot measure blood pressure directly, it can only estimate the risk of high blood pressure based on data from the heart rate and SpO2 sensor, the skin temperature sensor and the movement sensors. A battery life of over ten days and more precise sleep and activity tracking should make the RingConn Gen 3 a more reliable companion for everyday life
