Leak reveals Oura Ring 5 with new sensors in six colors

The Oura Ring 4 ($349 on Amazon) was launched in October 2024, while the Oura Ring 5 is not expected until the second half of 2027. Although the launch is still over a year away, Android Headlines has already published several render images of the Oura Ring 5.
Apparently, Oura is only making minimal changes to the design - the outer half of the ring is slightly more rounded than the previous model, which also makes the transition to the synthetic resin cover on the inside look more seamless. Android Headlines notes that this less sharp edge should mean that the ring will no longer scratch smartphone displays so easily.
The ring can already be seen with six different finishes. The Oura Ring 5 will reportedly be available in black, silver and gold with a glossy finish, in matt black, in silver with a brushed surface and in "Deep Rose" instead of the previous rose gold. As before, several electrical and optical sensors can be seen on the inside.
Oura is not only adjusting the position of the sensors, but the optical sensors in particular are also significantly larger than on the Oura Ring 4. The heart rate and SpO2 sensors could provide more precise data thanks to additional red and green LEDs, although it is not yet known whether the Oura Ring 5 will also have completely new sensors. Two images already show the charging station for at home and the charging case, which allows the ring to be charged on the go. The design of the accessory products is apparently hardly changing.
