Amazfit releases new Helio accessory in the US

Amazfit has released the Helio Arm Sleeve in the US. This new accessory has arrived alongside two new versions of the Helio Armband (black curr. $14.99 at Amazon) in charcoal and light gray.
The Amazfit Arm Sleeve is designed for the Helio Core, the same module found at the center of the Helio Strap. According to the brand, the accessory is said to deliver “more consistent readings”, particularly during more energetic workouts. This is thanks in part to the position of the sensor; by placing it closer to the heart, users should experience reduced interference from wrist flexion or grip strain, which can impact the accuracy of its measurements.
Amazfit’s new Arm Sleeve is also said to be comfortable to wear, made from a material with a 75% polyamide and 25% spandex blend. There are three sizes on offer: Small (22-28 cm/8.7-11.0 inches), Medium (27-35 cm/10.6-13.8 inches) and Large (35-45 cm/13.8-17.7 inches). Images suggest that it is significantly wider than the Helio Armband, though a width measurement is not provided.
You can now buy the Amazfit Helio Arm Sleeve at the brand’s official online store for $19.99. It is unclear whether or when this accessory could be released in other markets. The product page reminds customers that it does not come with the Helio Core or its charging dock.
