Asus releases new 13-inch laptop globally with up to 96 GB VRAM

Earlier this month, Asus released the first Ryzen AI Max+ 392-powered gaming laptop in the US. The laptop has already been put through its paces by certain YouTubers, too. However, Asus restricts the TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA to just 32 GB of RAM in the US, with other markets having received a 64 GB RAM variant.
Alternatively, Asus is now selling another Strix Halo-based laptop in the US, too. This time, the company has brought a new version of the ProArt PX13 to market, which was previously sold with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor (curr. $1,869 on Amazon). Also available in Europe, the ProArt PX13 adopts AMD's more powerful Ryzen AI Max+ 395 variant with the same Radeon 8060S iGPU that underpins the TUF Gaming A14 FA401EA. Better yet, the 13.3-inch laptop can be configured with 64 GB or 128 GB of RAM.
Hence, the ProArt PX13 can assign up to 48 GB VRAM when configured with 64 GB RAM. Meanwhile, 128 GB RAM SKUs can keep 96 GB VRAM allocated while retaining 32 GB RAM. Unsurprisingly, these configurations do not come cheap. For instance, the 64 GB RAM version runs to $2,799 with a 1 TB SSD or $2,999 for its 128 GB RAM counterpart.
Likewise, these versions cost £2,499 and £2,999 in the UK. By contrast, Asus charges €2,799 for a version with 32 GB of RAM in the Eurozone. Unfortunately, the new ProArt PX13 is limited to a 60 Hz OLED display, although it can run full tilt at 115 W.
