Lenovo spotted releasing new 15-inch gaming laptop with 165 Hz OLED display

Hardly any time has passed since Lenovo released the Legion 5i Gen 11 in Europe. Currently, these versions remain unavailable in North America. However, Lenovo indicated during CES 2026 that these Panther Lake SKUs would reach North America in April.
In the meantime, X user Huang514613 has spotted different versions being sold on Cendirect Canada and on Amazon US for $4,000. As the image below shows, Lenovo has listed the Legion 5i with a 15.3-inch OLED display, 1 TB of storage and 32 GB of RAM in an Eclipse Black finish. In other words, this matches the hardware of existing Panther Lake variants.
While that is all expected, Amazon also mentions the unreleased Core Ultra 7 251HX processor. Meanwhile, Cendirect Canada explicitly mentions a 12 GB VRAM version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070. Featuring up to a 115 W Total Graphics Power (TGP), this unreleased GPU appears set to launch inside the Yoga Pro 7 and ROG Zephyrus G14 too, among other gaming laptops.
From what we can tell, this variant has been available for almost a month with the model number 83VK0008US. The model number shown does not currently appear on Lenovo's Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) though, nor does the 83VK000CCC that Huang514613 has also discovered on Cendirect Canada. As a result, we suspect that Lenovo will officially present this version closer to its official May 1 release date.
