Officially, many aspects about the Vivo X300 Ultra remain unknown for now. The mystery extends to the device's release date too, for the time being. However, recent teasers indicate that the X300 Ultra will be joined by the X300s during a simultaneous launch event as a rival to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the Galaxy S26 Ultra (curr. $1,299 on Amazon).
Instead, an executive continues to promote the strength of the X300 Ultra's camera system on Weibo. Yesterday, Han Bo Xiao shared a few shots taken with the smartphone's 35 mm primary camera, its 200 mm teleconverter and its new 400 mm teleconverter. Now, he claims that the latter accessory allows the X300 Ultra to capture high-quality shots even at a 1,600 mm equivalent focal length.
For the time being, the executive has only provided examples at up to 800 mm. Embedded below, the images capture plenty of detail with decent colour reproduction to our eyes. It must be said that Vivo may have edited these after the fact. Thus, we would recommend treating them with some scepticism until independent reviews later this year.
