Honor reportedly working on 6.36-inch flagship phone with 8,000mAh battery

Honor has recently released smartphones with large silicon-carbon batteries, such as the Honor Win. In our review, the Honor Win's 10,000mAh battery delivered long runtimes, exceeding 32 hours in our WiFi web browsing test. Now, a new leak has surfaced, revealing that the company is working on a new smartphone with a large battery.
The leak comes from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The source suggests that Honor is developing a new phone with a 6.36-inch display. Additionally, it is said to be positioned as a flagship smartphone, which suggests it belongs to Honor's Magic series. However, the exact name of the device has not been revealed.
The tipster reveals that the phone's key highlight will be its large battery, with a capacity of approximately 8,000mAh (25K Ugreen powerbank curr. $69.99 on Amazon). For reference, the currently available phones with 6.3-inch displays, like the Vivo X300 and the Xiaomi 17 Pro, have 6,040mAh and 6,300mAh batteries, respectively.
The leak also reveals that it will support wireless charging and feature an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Notably, it is tipped to feature a periscope telephoto lens. Information regarding the release date and other specifications has not yet been revealed. In other news, Honor has released its new foldable smartphone, the Magic V6, in China.
