Oppo Find X9 Ultra global launch window confirmed alongside standout feature

The phrase “Your next camera launching in April” appears on teaser posters shared through multiple official Oppo channels, such as its X account. Also shown in the teaser is the side profile of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, featuring a very prominent orange button likely intended for camera control. If that’s the case, Oppo would be the only brand still offering a dedicated shutter button on an ultra-level camera flagship, following Vivo’s decision to omit this feature once again on its X300 Ultra.
Furthermore, neither the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (starting at $1,300 on Amazon), nor the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, nor the Leica Leitzphone includes such a button, making it unique to the Find X9 Ultra. To be clear, while the current iPhones and several Sony and Nubia models do come with a shutter button, most camera flagships carrying the “Ultra” branding no longer have it. Beyond its chassis, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to offer a host of new additions. One exclusive feature will likely be a 10x optical telephoto lens, previously seen on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Similar to the Vivo X300 Ultra, earlier leaks suggest that Oppo’s upcoming camera flagship – scheduled for a global launch in April – will include two 200 MP sensors, comprising a 1/1.12-inch Sony LYT-901 for the main camera and a 1/1.28-inch sensor for what is possibly the largest 3x periscope telephoto lens to date. New details about a Hasselblad Master Edition, including the first photo of the device, have also surfaced recently. Like the Leitzphone, this special edition phone could differ from the regular Find X9 Ultra in the software department.
