MediaTek’s Dimensity series has long been a step behind Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips — until now. The new Dimensity 9500 marks a real turning point. For the first time in years, MediaTek has produced a flagship SoC that not only competes with but actually outperforms its Snapdragon counterpart in several key areas. When we compared real-world gaming performance and energy efficiency, the Dimensity 9500 consistently impressed. In demanding titles like Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Honor of Kings, it consumed about 16% less power than the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 while maintaining nearly identical frame rates. That efficiency directly translates into roughly 16% longer gaming battery life — a noticeable difference during long play sessions.Heat management is another area where the Dimensity 9500 shines.

On paper, the Oppo Find X9 offers almost zero compromises compared to the Pro model and still manages to be a slightly more compact phone. The price difference is also significant. But are the differences in both the cameras and battery really that small?
