A 4K night vision camera with 10x zoom, which is also a 60 Hz thermal imaging camera, SpectraEyes aims to deliver a complete package for night-time excursions in a relatively compact housing.

SpectraEyes packs two cameras into a relatively compact housing. One of them is a classic night vision camera that can record 4K videos. The sensor does not have an infrared filter so that videos can be recorded even in absolute darkness in conjunction with the integrated infrared light.

The manufacturer advertises tenfold zoom, but due to the lack of information, it can be assumed that this is digital zoom, which has a negative impact on image quality. SpectraEyes also has a thermal imaging camera that can record 60 images per second, although the resolution of this camera is not specified. The battery is said to provide a battery life of four to five hours when using the night vision camera, or two hours when using both cameras. Two displays, each with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, show the videos from both cameras simultaneously.

Prices and availability

SpectraEyes is currently being funded on Kickstarter. In the "Super Early Bird" offer, the camera costs $514, while the retail price is set to rise to $830. The camera will be delivered worldwide from June 2026, but the price does not include customs duties and shipping costs.

As usual, when backing Kickstarter campaigns, there is a risk that products will not be delivered at all, or will be delivered with delays or quality defects. This is particularly true for this campaign because it is the manufacturer's first Kickstarter campaign, and because some of the sample photos were obviously generated by AI.
