Govee launches smart outdoor floodlight with motion sensor and colorful lighting
Govee has introduced the Outdoor Wall Floodlight, a new smart outdoor light. The wall-mounted floodlight can be ordered directly from the manufacturer starting today, but it will likely also appear in Govee's Amazon store soon. The official list price is €99 per unit. European customers who order the Govee Outdoor Wall Floodlight from the manufacturer's store and use the coupon code "FL25" can take advantage of a 25% launch discount. The same also applies to the two-pack with two floodlights. It's unclear when this product will launch in the US.
The new Govee Outdoor Wall Floodlight is an outdoor wall-mounted floodlight that the manufacturer says offers particularly high brightness. It is rated at 3,000 lumens with white light, while the color temperature can be adjusted between 1000K and 10000K from cool to warm white. Thanks to RGBWW technology, the light can also display 16 million different colors on request, but only one at a time.
This means patios, driveways, gardens and similar areas can not only be illuminated with ambient lighting but can also attract attention with red warning light when used together with a connected alarm system, for example. Like all newer Govee products, the new Outdoor Wall Floodlight can be controlled not only via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi through the app, but can also be extensively connected via Matter.
A PIR sensor with a 120-degree field of view is also installed below the waterproof floodlight, which can be mounted and adjusted in various ways. It automatically detects movement and can then automatically switch on the light if desired.
