Govee Ball Lights bring atmospheric lighting to the garden and backyard
Govee has been releasing new products in pretty quick succession lately. Just over a week ago, the company unveiled several devices at IFA 2026, including the COB Strip Light 2 Pro that we recently reviewed. The Govee Wallwash Table Lamp followed shortly afterward, and another new product is launching today.
The Govee Ball Lights are now available at Govee's official online store. A two-pack costs €129. Customers who order by 9 am on September 14, 2026, and use the coupon code "HL40" will save €40, reducing the launch price to €89.99. The new product is not yet listed in Govee's Amazon store, but it will likely become available there soon.
The Govee Ball Lights are designed for outdoor use and can be hung from a tree or beneath a roof overhang, for example. They carry an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and can withstand temperatures as low as -4°F, according to Govee. Each ball measures around 12 inches in diameter and contains 140 LEDs that can be controlled individually using Uni-IC and RGBIC technology, with support for 16 million colors. This allows users to create custom color gradients and other effects, while the new Govee AI Lighting Bot 2.0 can also generate lighting effects from voice commands, text, or photos.
As with other Govee products, users can create their own dynamic lighting effects or choose from numerous preset scene modes for different occasions. The Govee ball lights also offer extensive smart home integration, supporting Matter alongside Alexa and Google Assistant.
