New Govee smart light projector with nebula effects launches

The Govee Holiday Pattern Projector Light has been released in the US. This smart lighting product is designed to throw colorful lighting effects onto a wall or a fence. It builds on several older models from the brand, like the Outdoor Decoration Projector Light.

Govee describes the new Holiday Pattern Projector Light as suitable for year round use, with 16 replaceable films. Some of these are linked to holidays such as Halloween and Christmas, while others produce nebula style lighting. The dual RGBW light sources deliver over 16 million colors, with up to 55 lumens brightness at up to 32 ft (~10 m). The smart light is said to cover an area measuring up to 1,500 ft² (~140 m²), making it perfect for a smaller outdoor space.

Users of the Govee Holiday Pattern Projector Light can remotely control the device via the Govee Home app. Here, you can select the color, brightness level and effect speed. Alternatively, you could adjust the smart light using voice commands, and support for the Matter protocol means that it should integrate with many smart home ecosystems.

You can now buy the Govee Holiday Pattern Projector Light at the brand’s online store or via its Amazon storefront for $149.99. It is unclear whether or when this model could be released in other markets like Europe.
