Awol LuxVision 4K 120 Hz projector reservations now open

Awol Vision has been on a hot streak with its flagship 4K projectors. The Aetherion Pro and the Aetherion Max (check out our review), which were unveiled at CES this year, were followed by the LuxVision at IFA, and the latter is now available for pre-order.
The LuxVision, like the Aetherions, is an ultra-short-throw or UST projector capable of 4K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. However, what sets it apart from the competition is its optical lens shift technology. Thanks to LuxVision’s motorized optical shift, the projector can move the image vertically to the right spot with the press of a button. It can do so with a 142–152% offset without cropping, scaling, or reducing the resolution.
Besides the optical shift, the LuxVision is filled to the gills with high-end features such as 1 ms input lag, VRR, ALLM, and Dolby Vision Gaming. For connectivity, there are three HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort, and a four-channel HDMI multiview mode that allows several sources on screen at once. It sports a brightness of 6,000 ISO lumens and 110 percent of the Rec. 2020 color space.
Reservations for the LuxVision are now open via the official store. You can put down $100 to reserve this projector that costs $6,000. The deposit is refundable for those who choose not to go through with their order. Starting November 3, shoppers will be able to pay the full price (minus the $100) and get a complimentary screen.
