Hisense's new C3 Ultra projectors get international release

Hisense has unveiled a new family of home projectors, the C3 series, following a preview at IFA 2026. The lineup comprises three models: the C3 Pro, C3 Ultra, and C3 Ultra Max, each aimed at immersive home entertainment setups rather than compact portability.

All three share several core features. Each can produce images measuring up to 300 inches and features a 5,000:1 contrast ratio paired with an IRIS Lens. Hisense has also equipped every model with a Devialet-tuned audio system and integrated subwoofer, giving the range built-in sound hardware rather than treating audio as an entirely separate requirement.

Brightness is the principal distinction between the models. The C3 Pro is rated at 3,000 ANSI lumens, while the C3 Ultra reaches 4,000 ANSI lumens and the Ultra Max tops the range at 5,000 ANSI lumens. The Ultra Max also gets a 2x optical zoom, compared with 1.6x optical zoom on the other two models.

Hisense states that the C3 Ultra and C3 Ultra Max will launch globally in September 2026, with the Pro to follow later. However, the company has not announced pricing for any of the three projectors despite the official "launch" announcement. A comparable alternative is Epson's EpiqVision LS650.
