New Govee Outdoor TriBeam Spotlights appear

Govee appears to be developing new Outdoor TriBeam Spotlights. This product recently appeared as a Matter certified device in the database of the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). This organisation is responsible for the rollout and management of various smart home standards.

On the CSA page, the Govee Outdoor TriBeam Spotlights are referred to as model H3270, a number not previously used, indicating that this is a new product. While the company describes the smart lights as “designed to be installed in outdoor porch”, this wording is duplicated across several recent CSA database entries from Govee, such as the Outdoor Laser Light. Instead, the fact that these are labelled spotlights suggests that they are installed on the floor, as was the case for the older Govee Outdoor Spotlights 2. The ‘TriBeam’ portion of the product name could mean that the smart lights will generate triple color lighting effects, like the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Prism (white 200 ft curr. $859.99 at Amazon).

From the Govee Outdoor TriBeam Spotlights product page on the CSA website, we also know that the device will support Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. As is the case with other products from the brand, it should be compatible with the Govee Home app for remote controls such as lighting color, brightness and effect. Plus, it will support Matter 1.5, allowing it to integrate with a wide range of smart home ecosystems.

Govee has yet to officially announce the Outdoor TriBeam Spotlights. As such, many of its specifications remain a mystery. When these new smart lights will be released, and at what price, also remains to be seen.
