Anker has revealed the Solix C1000 Gen 2 Power Station. Rumored earlier this year, the device builds on the original Solix C1000 power station which was released in 2023.
The new Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 is said to be the fastest recharging 1 kWh portable power station, thanks to industry-leading charging technology. A full recharge can take as little as 49 minutes when in UltraFast mode with a 1,600W AC input. Alternatively, it can be recharged with up to 600W solar input.
You can power up to ten devices simultaneously with a maximum output of 2,000 W (3,000 W peak). Ports on the US version of the device include five AC, three USB-C, one USB-A and one 12V car port. The 1,024 Wh LFP battery should retain 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles, lasting for around ten years, with this capacity allowing you to power a computer monitor for 0.1 hours, a microwave for 1.3 hours, or to recharge an iPhone almost 70 times. Plus, you can remotely manage and control the power station via the Anker app.
Designed for use when camping or as a home power back-up, it measures 15.1 x 8.2 x 9.6 inches (~384 x 208 x 244 mm) and weighs 24.9 lbs (~11.3 kg). According to Anker, that makes it arond 14% smaller and 11% lighter than other models with the same capacity.
The Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 Power Station will launch in the US on September 8th for $799. However, if you sign up on the brand’s website, you can get an introductory discount of $370 off, allowing you to purchase the product for $429 on launch day. Versions of the UK and the EU, each with four AC outlets, are also on the way, though the pricing has yet to be announced.
