Anker Nebula X1 Pro unusual mobile theater on the way

Anker has announced the soundcore Nebula X1 Pro Mobile Theater. The company claims that the upcoming product is a world first, suitable for watching movies or sports in your front room or backyard.

The Nebula X1 Pro Mobile Theater includes a 4K laser projector and a 7.1.4 channel spatial sound system. These are housed in a rectangular CoreSuite casing on wheels. At its centre is the brand's X1 projector with a triple laser light source, said to deliver up to 3,500 lumens brightness. The Anker sub-brand also indicates that the model has a 5,000:1 native contrast ratio and a 56,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, with support for Dolby Vision. It has a 0.9-1.5:1 throw ratio, and tools like a 25° auto micro gimbal, automatic obstacle avoidance, focus and keystone correction to perfect your setup.

Built into the system are seven horizontal speakers, a subwoofer and four overhead height channels for a surround sound experience. They support Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio, and soundcore’s FlexWave spatial audio technology with four integrated microphones for audio calibration in real time. According to the product page, these speakers can run for up to eight hours thanks to a built-in battery. 

The Anker soundcore Nebula X1 Pro Mobile Theater will crowdfund globally on Kickstarter. Campaign pledges will start from $2,999, or $2,599 for those who sign up and place a $100 deposit ahead of launch. It is listed with an MSRP of $4,999; for context, the standard Nebula X1 projector retails for $2,999 (Amazon). Mass production of the product is scheduled to begin in November 2025, with the first shipments expected in the same month.
