Xming is about to release the Q6 Neo projector in China. It is the latest model in the Formovie subbrand’s Neo range, following the Q5 Neo and Q5 Neo Plus, which were released several months ago.
The Xming Q6 Neo is a 1080p projector with 4K decoding and support for HDR10+. Equipped with the PhotonX 2.0 fully enclosed optical engine, its light source is said to offer up to 245 CVIA lumens brightness; a measurement with an internationally recognised standard like ISO or ANSI lumens has not been provided. According to the product listing, it can throw images between 40 and 120 inches (~100 and 300 cm) wide.
Plus, the Q6 Neo’s integrated dual-arm gimbal stand allows you to adjust the projection angle by up to 180° vertically and 360° horizontally. You can also perfect the image with tools like automatic focus and keystone correction. As Xming is a Xiaomi ecosystem brand, this projector supports HyperOS Connect and can be controlled through Xiaomi’s apps or with Xiao AI voice commands.
You can currently pre-order the Xming Q6 Neo in China for CNY 799 (~$111). The company has yet to announce whether or not it will launch this model in other markets like the US. Here, it already sells products under the Formovie brand name, like the Formovie Theater (curr. $2,099.99 at Amazon).
