Wanbo has released the Vali 1 projector in markets worldwide. Arriving most recently in the UK, this is a cheaper portable 1080p model with a built-in gimbal stand and integrated speakers. Plus, the company suggests that it can deliver up to 900 ANSI lumens brightness, a particularly high level for this kind of projector.

Wanbo is rolling out the Vali 1 projector in markets worldwide, most recently releasing it in the UK. This is a cheaper portable model, said to offer a particularly high level of brightness.

According to Wanbo, the Vali 1’s light source delivers up to 900 ANSI lumens brightness. For context, that would make it more than twice as bright as the popular Anker Nebula Mars 3 Air (curr. $439.99 at Amazon, RRP $599.99). However, whether or not this projector lives up to this measurement remains to be seen.

Wanbo’s Vali 1 is a 1080p projector, marketed as throwing images up to 130 inches wide. The picture can be tweaked with tools like automatic focus and keystone correction, and you can use the built-in gimbal stand to adjust the projection angle. With Android TV 11.0, users can access many streaming services, including Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube, and there is support for Google Assistant voice commands and Google Cast wireless screensharing. Other features include integrated 12W speakers, Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity and ports like HDMI, USB-A and AUX.

In the US, the Wanbo Vali 1 projector is available for $319.99; at Amazon, some customers are currently offered a $90 coupon, reducing the price to $229.99. In the UK, you can buy the model for £269.99 at retailers like Robert Dyas. In other European countries like the Netherlands, it retails for €349.99.
