The Anker Solix Solarbank 3 Pro is currently receiving a new update, v1.0.2.6. This brings a new feature related to third-party photovoltaic (PV) systems, and an update for the CO2 emissions calculation. Plus, there are similar updates for the BP1600 and BP2700 expansion batteries.

Anker has released an update for the Solix Solarbank 3 Pro. This home energy storage solution was released earlier in 2025, and it has already received other software updates, bringing features like a wake function for Sleep mode.

The Anker Solix Solarbank 3 Pro is now receiving software v1.0.2.6. This brings two changes for users in the Netherlands, France, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Germany and Austria. Firstly, in the brand’s app, you can now view the amount of surplus energy that the solar bank has stored from third-party photovoltaic (PV) systems. Specifically, this applies to solar panels that are not directly connected to the Anker storage system but connected to the grid via Schuko; historically, all power input via Schuko was labelled ‘from the grid’ despite its origins.

Secondly, the calculation behind the CO2 emissions metric has been updated. According to Anker, the new calculation coefficient of 0.363 kgCO2/kWh is linked to the latest standard as certified by the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA). Previously, it was much higher at 0.997 kgCO2/kWh. In line with these changes, there are v0.3.3.6 updates for the BP1600 and BP2700 expansion batteries (curr. €899.99 at Amazon.de).
