Anker's new Prime docking station, launched at IFA 2025, is a hub that should be great for users who want to expand their laptop into a full desktop-class workstation. The device packs 14 ports into a single unit, with one 140W upstream USB-C port, three USB-C ports, three USB-A, two HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4, Ethernet, SD/TF slots, and audio. This extensive combination will let laptops connect to a wide range of peripherals while not giving up high charging speeds.
One of the major highlights of the station is its ability to handle a triple-display setup, including a stable single 8K output. This feature makes it great for users who want to multitask across Mac or Windows laptops for the sake of their creative workflows, office productivity, or simply entertainment.
The docking station also features a smart display that gives real-time feedback on charging, data transfer, and temperature. An accompanying PC app gives users even more control, including diagnostics, firmware updates, and casting functions. To keep performance consistent, Anker has built in ActiveShield 3.0 technology and a cooling fan, which should make sure that the dock operates without throttling even under heavy load.
All USB-C ports are designed to handle both data and fast charging. The Anker Prime Docking Station will be available from September 5 at a price of $299.99 in the US, €349.99 in Europe, and £299.99 in the UK.
