Anker’s latest wireless car charging accessory has been spotted again. On the brand’s Japanese website, the upcoming model is referred to as the Prime Wireless Car Charger (MagGo, AirCool, Pad). This appears to be model A2933, which was rumored earlier this year.
From the earlier leak, we already know that the Prime Wireless Car Charger would support an up to 25W wireless output and is a certified Qi2.2 accessory. It is powered via a 45W USB-C input, and comes with a car power adapter and an indicator light. Plus, the base allows you to adjust the viewing angle.
Anker has since confirmed that this accessory is designed to be installed on an air vent. Plus, it will be equipped with a cooling fan to ensure that your smartphone does not overheat. The company also notes that another benefit of the Qi2.2 technology is more accurate foreign object detection. The Prime Wireless Car Charger will measure 93 x 93 x 69 mm (~3.7 x 3.7 x 2.7 inches), and it could be offered in various colors; a new product image (below) shows a silver frame around the black accessory, while an older leaked image (below) seems to show a blue colorway.
On the Anker Japan page, the company indicates that the Prime Wireless Car Charger (MagGo, AirCool, Pad) will be released in Japan in Fall 2025. Whether it will be launched in other markets at the same time is unclear. In the US, it is expected to retail for $69.99, making it $10 more expensive than the Anker Nano Wireless Car Charger (Magnetic, Detachable Pad) (curr. $39.99 at Amazon).
