Anker offers a wide range of chargers, from single-port models to desktop chargers that can power multiple devices simultaneously. However, some need a portable charger with multiple ports but enough power to simultaneously charge high-power devices such as multiple computers alongside a phone, tablet, or a gaming handheld. If you belong to this group, the Anker 140W 4-port wall charger is worth considering, especially now that it is on sale.

Announced at CES 2025, the Anker 140W 4-port charger is a GaN PD 3.1 charger with three USB-C ports and a single USB-A port. While its 140W max output and compact design are enough to convince you to buy it, an interesting feature it has is a display that shows how much power a connected device is drawing. The display, which has a touch control, also shows temperature monitoring, total output power, total operating time, and even animations. Users can also long-press on the control to rotate the display.

When it was announced in January, the charger cost $89.99, but due to tariffs, it got bumped up to $99.99 a few months later. The charger has over 1000 reviews on Amazon, 80% of which are five stars. However, it is important to state there are a handful of reviews that complained about the charger power cycling every few minutes, and or charging their devices at a much slower rate, regardless of the port in use and even with the included 240W E-Marker USB-C cable.

Depending on the type and number of devices connected, the power output will vary. For example, while the first two USB-C ports have a max output of 140W when either one is in use, their outputs drop to 70W each when a device is connected to both ports. And if you plug in a third device into the third USB-C port, the power output is split into 65W, 45W, and 30W, respectively.

The Anker 140W 4-port charger is compatible with Apple MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Chromebooks, Google Pixel smartphones, the Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, and DJI drones.
