Over six months have passed since Lenovo showcased its Self-Charging Bluetooth Keyboard powered by photovoltaic cells. While the company claimed that the solar-powered keyboard would be available in May 2025 for $69.99, Lenovo has only just started sharing teaser videos on YouTube. In other words, it seems that Lenovo's Self-Charging Bluetooth Keyboard is not ready for release just yet.
In the meantime, Roland Quandt suggests that Logitech is about to release a newer alternative to the Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 that has been available for some time. According to the leaker, Logitech has created the Signature Slim Solar Plus, a new wireless keyboard with an alleged 10-year battery life.
Ultimately, the Signature Slim Solar Plus looks like an MX Keys S (curr. $119.99 on Amazon) with a small solar panel attached to its top edge. As the image above shows, the Signature Slim Solar Plus measures 430.8 x 142.9 mm and is 20.2 mm thick at its rear. Nonetheless, the keyboard features a numberpad, dedicated media controls and full-sized arrow keys split across three clusters.
As usual for a Logitech keyboard, the Signature Slim Solar Plus contains Easy Switch buttons for swapping between three paired devices as required. The Signature Slim Solar Plus should support Android, ChromeOS, Linux, macOS and Windows out of the box, too. Although Quandt claims that the Signature Slim Solar Plus will be available for approximately €129 in a Graphite colour option, its release date remains a mystery for now.
