"All-in-One Keyboard PC" is how the developers describe their new product on Kickstarter. Purportedly the first of its kind, the concept is reminiscent of devices such as the Raspberry Pi 400 or the Orange Pi 800. Those with a little more life experience may be having flashbacks of the Commodore 64.
Nevertheless, it is true that the selection of keyboards with integrated powerful PCs is negligible, if not non-existent. The keyboard, whose funding campaign was launched on Kickstarter on August 27, 2025, integrates an Intel N150 processor into the form factor of a mechanical keyboard. This is intended to save desk space and reduce cable clutter.
Rakeydo installs red switches on its mechanical keyboard, which also features integrated RGB backlighting and thus up to nine different lighting effects. Supporters of the campaign can choose between various storage configurations, namely 512 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB. All configurations come with 16 GB of RAM, various ports for monitors, micro SD cards, audio cables and other peripherals, as well as Windows 11 Pro. Prices start at around $399 as part of the "Super Early Bird" special offer, plus shipping.
It should be noted, however, that Rakeydo has not funded any other projects via Kickstarter to date and does not have any other products online. Potential backers should thus think twice about supporting this project, as the risk is naturally greater with new companies than with established brands.
