Jackery has confirmed that it will show several innovations at IFA 2025, including the new Explorer 500 v2 lightweight power station. This event is taking place in Berlin from September 5th to 9th.
Debuting at IFA is the Jackery Explorer 500 v2 power station, designed for camping, day trips or use as a home backup. Jackery claims that it is the “most compact and lightweight” model of its kind with a “slim-format”, though its weight and measurements have yet to be provided. With a 512 Wh capacity LiFePO4 battery, it is said to deliver a 500 W continuous output like the original model. Users will be able to power up to six devices via two AC outlets, 100W and 30W USB-C ports, a USB-A port and a 12 V port.
The Explorer 500 v2 also features ChargeShield 2.0 technology and can be fully recharged in 80 minutes via a wall outlet. Plus, a hybrid charging mode can reduce the charging time to 60 minutes with a 100W solar panel. It is unclear when the Jackery Explorer 500 v2 power station will be released and how much it will cost. To give you an idea, the first Jackery Explorer 500 Portable Power Station retails for $499.00 (curr. $298.98 at Amazon).
Also being demonstrated at Jackery’s booth at IFA 2025 will be its XBC Solar Roof Tiles. Shown earlier this year at CES, it is said to be the first XBC solar curved roof tile on the market. They are designed to be paired with the brand’s HomePower Energy Storage solution. These include the HomePower 2000 Ultra, which will also be on show following its launch earlier this year.
