Following the US debut, EcoFlow has now officially launched its latest Trail series DC portable power stations in Europe. The new Trail series DC power stations consist of three models: the Trail 200 DC, the Trail 300 DC, and the Trail Plus 300 DC, and according to the company, these power stations are designed to deliver reliable, compact outdoor power for camping and off-grid work.
The Trail 200 DC and the Trail 300 DC (curr. available at $158.99 on Amazon US) boast a 192 Wh and 288 Wh LiFePO₄ battery and offer a maximum power output of 220 W and 300 W, respectively. Speaking of ports, both DC power stations feature a total of four USB ports—two 140 W USB-C and two 12 W USB-A ports. Additionally, the Trail 300 DC also has a 120 W car outlet and a 110 W solar/car port, which you can use to recharge the gadget.
On the other hand, the Trail Plus 300 DC has the same 288 Wh battery capacity and 300 W power output as the 300 DC, but it offers a total of six ports, including two 12 W USB-A, three 140 W USB-C, and a 120 W car port. Unlike the Trail 200 DC and the 300 DC, the Plus model has companion app support and a built-in multi-function camping light.
Dimension-wise, the 200 DC is the lightest and the most compact model, while the 300 DC and the Plus are quite bulky and heavy. To be more exact, the former measures 167 x 115 x 126 mm (6.52 x 4.53 x 4.96 inches) and weighs around 1.83 kg (4.03 lbs), while the latter two measure 167 x 115 x 166 mm (6.57 x 4.53 x 6.54) and 206 x 115 x 123 mm (8.11 x 4.53 x 4.84 inches) and weigh 2.58 kg (5.69 lbs) and 2.26 kg (4.98 lbs), respectively.
There are a few things common across the three models, including IP30 ingress protection, a built-in handle for carrying the power station, multiple protection features, and an LED display that shows essential information like battery levels, power input, output, and charging time. The company offers three recharging methods for the Trail 300 DC and the Plus 300 DC: 140 W via USB-C, 120 W via a car port, and 110 W via solar panels. The company claims that the latest Trail series gadgets are capable of powering various devices such as lights, coolers, cameras, routers, smartphones, laptops, tablets, and more.
