Shortly after Anker released its Soundcore P41i earbuds in the US, it has unveiled its ultra-thin Zolo USB-A to USB-C cable in the US as well. This follows its earlier release across Europe. The cable is now available on Amazon in two sizes - 3.3 ft (1 m) and 6 ft (1.8 m) - priced at $11.99 and $12.99 respectively. Both black and white color options are listed, although the longer white variant is currently marked as "coming soon" for the higher length.
This new Zolo model (A8052) comes with a slim USB-C connector - just 10 x 5.8 mm - to better fit devices with tighter port cutouts, particularly those using thicker cases (as visible in the image below). It’s built with a 48-strand braided jacket and is rated to withstand over 10,000 bends and 12 kg of pull force. The cable is USB-IF certified and supports both data transfer at 480 Mbps and up to 18W charging power. Anker also says that the cable is suited for a "seamless" CarPlay experience, capable of charging the phone and handling calls, navigation, and media without signal drops or disconnections.
The Amazon product listing also confirms the cable's compatibility with a wide range of iPhones (including iPhone 16, 15, and 14 series), Samsung Galaxy models, iPads, and select Google Pixel and LG phones. While full-speed charging is supported on some Android devices, limited charging speeds will likely apply to others.
As of now, the Zolo USB-A to USB-C cable is positioned slightly above the Zolo USB-C to USB-C 240W braided cable, which is currently priced at $9.99 on Amazon. Despite the higher cost, the new USB-A model is more for users who still rely on older chargers or car systems and need something more durable and case-friendly.
