Jackery is a household name in the solar generator and portable power station segment, offering several models that can be used at home or outdoors. One of its current offerings is the Explorer 1000 v2, a solar generator with a 1070Wh LiFePO4 battery capacity and an output of 1500W. Now, it has received a huge 46% discount that's quite impossible to ignore.
The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 can be purchased alone or with a solar panel and Amazon is currently offering a limited time deal on either option. The Explorer 1000 v2 with a SolarSaga 200W panel usually sells for $1,299, but can now be purchased for just $699, a whopping 46% off! If you have no need for the panel, then you can buy just the Explorer v2 for $448.99, 44% of its launch price of $799.
The Explorer 1000 v2 has a plethora of output ports including two USB-C ports, one of which can output up to 100W; a single USB-A port; a DC car port; and three pure sine wave AC ports for appliances such as refrigerators, an electric kettle, or an electric stove.
Based on the number of output ports, Jackery's Explorer 1000 v2 can be used to charge and power multiple devices and appliances simultaneously provided the max power doesn't exceed 1500W. The solar generator also has a built-in UPS function with a response time of less than 20ms, allowing it to easily switch power to a connected device, mostly without downtime.
There are a variety of ways to charge the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2. The AC input plug allows you to charge it from a wall outlet in 1.7 hours, but it can be shortened to an hour if you enable the emergency charging function in the Jackery app. There's also the option to use a solar panel — the 200W SolarSaga foldable bifacial solar panel will charge the device from empty to full in 7.5 hours (two 200W panels will bring charging time down to 3.8 hours) while a 12V car adapter will take 12 hours to fully charge it.
Jackery claims the Explorer 1000 v2 has over 62 protections mechanisms, 12 forms of BMS protection, and 4 forms of physical protection for all-round safety, all of which fall under its Charge Shield 2.0 technology. The solar generator uses LFP batteries which will maintain over 70% of its original capacity even after 4000 charge cycles.
There's no info on how long the discount will be available for but based on the info on Jackery's own website which is also running a similar deal albeit with a discount code, the deal ends in four days.
