Olight has launches another flashlight called the Warrior Ultra. It offers 2,500 lumens with a throw of 1,050 ft, only the more chunky Warrior X is more powerful than this.
The Warrior Ultra’s design is based on a regular 21700 battery and consequently sports a rather compact head. Only the removable belt clip protrudes a little bit. The flashlight is 5.5 inches long, about 1.1 inches thick and weighs 6.3 oz.
The Warrior Ultra can sustain the 2,500 lumens for around 2.5 minutes before dropping to the “High” mode with 800 lumens, which then lasts for another 162 minutes. An additional 39 minutes are available via the 250-lumen mode, which cannot be activated manually but is only usable when the battery charge is quite low.
In the particularly dim Moonlight mode, the flashlight has a battery life of up to 55 days according to Olight. While it only outputs one singular lumen, the runtime also suggests a pretty low self-discharge rate of the battery.
The flashlight is charged via a proprietary magnetic MCC cable that is included with the Warrior Ultra. Unlike the Javelot Turbo 2, it lacks a convenient USB-C port as Olight remains loyal to its magnetic connector.
Olight's new flashlight is compatible with two remote switches (sROD-7 and sROD) as well as the E-WM25 mount. These accessories have to be bought separately. The remote switches are screwed onto the rear, and not on the battery or switch cap.
The Warrior Ultra will be offered in three colors (gray, blue, olive green) and will be priced at $139.99. Pre-orders are expected to start on April 15 at the brand's official online store. The new Sphere-C light orb will be included as an early-bird special.
