Xiaomi Mijia Vertical Air Conditioner Pro with HyperOS arrives

The Xiaomi Mijia Fresh Air Air Conditioner Pro has arrived in China. This smart vertical 3HP air conditioner has dual outlets and is suited to areas measuring 30 to 40 m² (~323 to 431 ft²) in size.

The new Mijia Air Conditioner Pro can heat or cool your room with a 160° wide-angle air supply and a 245 m³/h (~8,652 ft³/h) airflow rate. The device offers airflow in four directions, with each zone independently controllable. Plus, integrated sensors enable the device to locate people and direct the air supply towards or away from them, as desired.

Other features include HyperOS Connect, integration with other Xiaomi smart home products, remote controls, and over-the-air updates via the accompanying app. This model is rated as Class 1 energy efficient in China, and the internal unit measures 1,863 x 340 x 441 mm (~73.3 x 13.4 x 17.4 inches).

Xiaomi is selling the Mijia Fresh Air Air Conditioner Pro Vertical 3HP in China for CNY 9,999 (~$1,372). It is unlikely to launch in other markets like Europe, where Xiaomi already sells smart home products like the Robot Vacuum X20 Pro (curr. €449.99 at Amazon.de).
