Last year, Beats announced its first non-audio product — iPhone 16 cases. Now, it has followed it with the launch of USB-C charging cables. Available in multiple colors with different connectors at the other end, and varying lengths, a common feature of all the cables is that they are braided.
The Beats charging cables have a tangle-free and anti-fray woven design and come in three variants. There's a USB-C to USB-C variant that is available in Bolt Black Black, Surge Stone, Rapid Red, and Nitro Navy; a USB-A to USB-C cable available in Black, Beige, and Red, and a USB-C to Lightning cable that's also available in Black, Beige, and Red.
The cables have a length of 1.5 meters, but there are also short variants that measure 20 centimeters but are only available in Bolt Black. Regardless of the type, length, and color, each cable costs $18.99. The USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cables are also available in a pack of two for $34.99.
The Beats Charging Cables are not only for charging but can also be used for data transfer (USB 2.0 speeds), CarPlay, and Android Auto. They can also be used with compatible audio devices such as the Beats Pill (available on Amazon for $149.99) for lossless audio. Beats says they have support for fast charging (up to 60W for the USb-C to USB-C variant) and automatic voltage regulation. They are compatible with Android, Apple, Beats products, and all devices with USB-C ports.
