What many think is the best deal in the laptop world just got more affordable.
The entry-level MacBook Air 13 M4 is currently on sale for its lowest recorded price at Amazon. The laptop is currently priced at $912, which is the lowest price seen on Amazon as of press time.
The base configuration of the MacBook Air 13 features Apple's M4 SoC alongside a welcome boost to 16 GB of unified memory. The laptop also boasts a 13.6-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1664, although the display's refresh rate is limited to 60 Hz. All this is wrapped in a package that weighs in at 1.225 kg (~2.7 pounds).
In our review of the MacBook Air 13 M4, we highlighted the laptop's incredible 16 hours of battery life (via our WiFi Battery Test), excellent build quality, and powerful and efficient M4 chip. However, there are some drawbacks. Primarily, the included 256 GB of storage can be somewhat limiting for some users. The lack of any upgradeability makes this point particularly painful, as storage cannot be expanded after purchase (although external drives are always an option).
