Apple announces WWDC 2025 dates: The biggest iPhone and Mac updates in years set to be unveiled on June 9

Apple's World Wide Developers Conference traditionally serves as a launch event for new operating system versions and Apple apps, and new hardware is also announced from time to time. Apple has now confirmed in a press release that WWDC 2025 will take place from June 9 to 13. For consumers, the press conference at the beginning of the event is the most interesting, and this year's event is expected to be particularly exciting.

According to the latest information from Bloomberg, iOS 19, iPadOS 19 and macOS 16 will be the biggest updates in years. Apple is expected to give the iPhone, iPad, and Mac user interfaces the most comprehensive design update since the launch of iOS 7 in September 2013, introducing new icons, apps, menus, window designs and buttons. Apple is reportedly basing its design on visionOS, the operating system from Apple Vision Pro. WWDC 2025 is also expected to reveal details on watchOS 12 and visionOS 3, the biggest updates of the year for the Apple Watch and Vision Pro.
