iRobot has launched the Roomba Max 705 Vac robot to automatically vacuum the home, simplifying home cleaning for its owner. The top-of-the-line vacuum can operate without intervention for up to 75 days by dumping dust and debris into the AutoEmpty dock after each session.
The Roomba Max 705 Vac utilizes ClearView Pro LiDAR technology and PrecisionVision AI to map out the entire home in 3D while identifying objects such as toys. This also allows the Roomba to sense large messes and adjust its vacuuming to ensure these are cleaned up with additional passes. Anti-tangle dual rubber brushes coupled with superior suction allow the Roomba to operate autonomously, with less maintenance and follow-up manual vacuuming.
All debris and dust are automatically dumped into the AutoEmpty dock, which houses a vacuum bag that can trap particles as small as 0.7 microns. The Max 705 can operate for up to 75 days between vacuum bag changes, greatly reducing the drudgery of vacuum machine maintenance.
The Roomba learns where the trouble spots are in a home and will adjust its scheduling to maintain a clean floor. Owners can speak commands to the robot to clean rooms and areas on command, and schedule times for the robot to operate without disturbing the occupants.
The Max 705 has an MSRP of $899.99. Preorders can be made on iRobot.com today, and the vacuum will arrive at the iRobot store on Amazon after May 11.
