The Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker is nearing its first year anniversary, and while a successor isn't expected anytime soon, the portable speaker has gotten a refresh.
Beats by Dre has announced two new colors for the Beats Pill, bringing the available color options to five. The new colors are Navy Blue and Blush Pink and are available to buy now. However, they aren't sold on the Beats online store.
The Beats Pill in Navy Blue can only be purchased at Walmart while the Blush Pink is exclusive to Target. Both colors retain the $149.99 launch price of the speaker. Although, some of the other colors are currently available for as low as $99.99 on Amazon.
The Beats Pill was announced last year, nine years after the last model. It has a bigger woofer than its predecessors as well as a new tweeter that has its own housing to reduce distortion. The speaker is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, has up to 24 hours of battery life, and can even be used as an emergency power bank.
Owners can pair two speakers together for a stereo effect or for a louder volume. It also supports lossless audio over USB-C and is compatible with both Apple's Find My and Android's Find My Device networks.
