Flagship Beats 360 headphones launch with colorful UltraPlush ear cushions
Beats, an Apple company, has launched their latest flagship headphones, the Beats 360. The colorful over-ear headphones offer the company's most effective active noise cancellation technology along with Dolby Atmos sound. Swappable ear cushions allow owners to customize the appearance.
The Beats 360 uses three-layer, dynamic drivers of unspecified diameter and frequency response. Adaptive EQ automatically adjusts the sound based on fit and personal hearing tests. Personalized Spatial Audio can be activated to reproduce sound in a 360-degree environment thanks to dynamic head tracking.
The active noise cancellation system is up to 1.75 times better than that of its Beats Studio Pro and the company's best, according to internal company tests. Transparency mode controlled by the physical buttons allows wearers to hear others without removing the Beats. Voice calls benefit from an AI-powered triple-mic background noise cancellation system.
The Beats 360 headphones come in Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky, and both the memory foam headband and ear cushions can be swapped out to customize the appearance by choosing between soft UltraPlush and breathable Performance Knit cushions. The UltraPlush is available in Black and Cloud, while the Performance Knit is available in Black, Cloud, Navy, Pink, Sky, and Volt.
The Bluetooth 5.3 headphones are compatible with Android and Apple smartphones, with apps available for each OS to adjust settings and access voice assistants. Physical buttons for volume, playback, and power are located on the earcups.
With ANC and Personalized Spatial Audio enabled, the Beats 360 has a rated runtime of up to 32 hours between charges. A five-minute fast charge adds an hour of runtime using a USB-C power supply.
The headphones come with IPX4 sweat resistance and a fabric case. They weigh 294.5 g (10.39 oz.) and measure 165.5 x 87.1 x 191.3 mm (6.52 x 3.43 x 7.53 in.).
