New Casio G-Shock x Evangelion collaboration teased

Casio has teased another G-Shock x Evangelion collaboration watch. The brand has partnered with the makers of the Japanese anime television series before, with the pair creating eight watches together so far. The latest model was the DW-5600EVA-02, released in 2021.

In a video (below) recently posted on the Casio G-Shock YouTube channel, the company has announced a fresh collaboration to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion. The video, which features Japanese text, reveals few details about the latest release from the partnership. However, it indicates that it will launch at some point in October 2025, meaning fans will not have to wait long.

Dedicated Casio blog Great G-Shock World suggests that this latest G-Shock x Evangelion collaboration could include multiple models. In the report, it is also speculated that this range could include a higher-end model like the MTG-B4000. The latest joint releases from Casio and Evangelion include DW-5600 and DW-6900 models, though in 2010, two GA-110 series watches were released.

It remains to be seen what the new G-Shock x Evangelion collaboration watch or watches will look like, and precisely when they will be released. Based on previous products from this partnership, it is likely that it will be exclusive to the Japanese market.
