Casio's previously showcased titanium watches from the Oceanus Manta S7000 series are now available for purchase in the United States. These models - OCWS7000E-2A, OCWS7000RA2A, and OCWS7000RA5A - come equipped with sleek design, tech-focused features, and a flagship build quality.
Each watch sports a titanium case measuring 47.5 by 42.8 by 9.5 mm and comes with a solid titanium band equipped with a one-touch, slide-adjustable three-fold clasp. There is a dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflection coating for scratch resistance and clarity's sake. The watches also include a sapphire bezel ring styled with light blue deposition accents, adding to their refined aesthetic. Weighting around 83 grams, these watches are moderately light.
These timepieces run on Casio’s Tough Solar system. They also feature multi-band 6 radio-controlled timekeeping, meaning the watches automatically adjust for accurate time based on signals received worldwide - including regions in Japan, North America, Europe, and China. Additionally, Bluetooth connectivity lets users seamlessly link their watch to a smartphone via the Casio Watches app, so they can manage world time settings across approximately 300 cities, perform easy clock adjustments, and even locate their phones.
Other functions include a 1-second stopwatch with a nearly 24-hour capacity, a full auto-calendar that is operable until the year 2099, a battery level indicator, and power-saving features that preserve energy by stopping the hands when the watch is left in darkness. These watches are rated for 100 meters of water resistance, which means they should be great for swimming.
Prices range from $1,350 to $1,400, depending on the variant (see screenshot below). These watches are listed with limited stock in the US, which is actually quite standard when it comes to Oceanus models.
